With more than 30 years of experience, Elie is truly an expert stylist. He’s trained in London, Paris, New York, and Sydney with some of the best in the business, and he’s shared his expertise through his work as Fashion Director for Intercoiffure Australia. However, Elie feels most at home in his salon, where he enjoys cutting and styling, and he loves the challenge of giving clients total hair transformations.
Elie’s Pro Tip: “Develop your own unique style, and remember when you look good, you feel good.”
Originally hailing from Ireland, Siobhan has been styling hair for more than 20 years. She joined Elias George Hair when she moved to Australia in 2007, and she appreciates the relaxed and upbeat atmosphere of the salon. Her favourite services are cutting and colouring, and she’s happiest when she knows she’s put a smile on the face of another satisfied customer.
Siobhan’s Pro Tip: “Pamper your hair with a conditioning treatment at least once a week. It not only prevents your hair from drying out, it also adds shine and vitality.”
Pamela has been styling hair for nearly 15 years, and she regularly trains to keep up-to-date on the latest colouring and styling techniques. She won a national competition as an apprentice, based on her creativity, colouring skills, and theatrical performance, and she enjoys bringing these strengths to her everyday work.
Pamela’s Pro Tip: “Embrace the hair you naturally have, do what you can to make it even better, and invest in good products.”
As Manager of the Westmead Salon, Stella stays quite busy, but she feels the best part of her job is working with clients in the salon and with patients at the Westmead Hospital. Even after working as a hairdresser for 10 years, she still marvels at her ability to give someone a whole new look, and greater self-confidence, in just a couple hours.
Stella’s Pro Tip: “Avoid cheap hair products. The chemicals in them can strip your colour and your hair’s natural oils. The products we carry in the salon are gentle on your hair and will help extend the life of colours, perms, and straightening treatments.”
Danni’s been styling hair for nearly a decade, and she finds total makeovers the most rewarding part of her job. She also enjoys learning new skills and techniques through trainings she’s completed with TIGI, MoroccanOil, and Intercoiffure Australia. When she’s not working in the salon, Danni can usually be found outdoors, spending time at the beach or fishing.
Danni’s Pro Tip: “If you use good products, your hair will definitely benefit. You won’t have to wash it as often, it’ll be easier to style each day, and you won’t have to work as hard to maintain the look you want.”
In just a few years as a stylist, Linda has already distinguished herself as a talented newcomer. She won Intercoiffure Australia’s Femme Style Award in 2016 for a photo shoot she organized, featuring her own hair styling and colouring work. Linda finds styling hair most fulfilling, since she gets to see both the “before” and “after” looks, and she truly enjoys her job because every day brings exciting, new challenges.
Linda’s Pro Tip: “Choose a style that’s right for your hair type AND your lifestyle. You’ll be able to look good without working too hard.”
Abbey is the newest member of the Elias George Hair team, and she’s currently completing her training and apprenticeship. Although she’s still learning, she says colouring is her favourite hair service to perform, since colour plays such a crucial role in helping people achieve a whole new look. Outside of her training and work, Abby enjoys spending time with her friends and family.
Abby’s Pro Tip: “If you have a dream for your hair, it’s almost always possible to make it happen, but remember to get professional help for the really big changes.”
